A 16-year-old boy is in critical condition after being stabbed multiple times in Brooklyn, authorities say, according to ABC News 7.
The attack occurred near Rochester Avenue and Carroll Street in Crown Heights just before 7 p.m. on Sunday. The victim suffered at least five stab wounds to the chest and abdomen, possibly with a screwdriver.
Police recovered a suspected weapon near the scene, which will undergo testing to confirm if it was used in the assault.
The teenager was reportedly attacked by a group of teens who fled the park on foot. He was rushed to Kings County Hospital for treatment.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
