A 17-year-old girl has died after being shot in the head in Queens, ABC News 7 reports.

According to police, the incident occurred inside a home on Clover Place in Holliswood shortly after 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Emergency responders transported the victim to the hospital in critical condition, but she later succumbed to her injuries.

A person of interest is in custody and being questioned; however, no arrests have been made at this time.
