In Brooklyn, a hit-and-run driver fatally struck a man as he tried to enter his parked car, - Eyewitness News ABC7 posts.

The 57-year-old victim was hit by a passing car on Wortman Avenue in East New York at approximately 6 a.m. last Friday. The vehicle, potentially a gray four-door sedan, fled eastbound on Wortman Avenue.

Tragically, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
