In Brooklyn, police are searching for a driver who fled the scene of an accident that killed a pedestrian, NYPD informs

According to investigators, at the intersection of Fulton Street and Washington Avenue in the Cypress Hills area, a burgundy Ford Explorer car with Pennsylvania license plates ran over a 55-year-old man crossing the roadway. After the collision, the driver left the scene of the accident.

The tragic incident occurred on Saturday, at about 0:30 a.m.

The man was taken to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
