NYC police officer injured in motorcycle hit-and-run

Police are searching for three individuals who struck an NYPD officer with a motorcycle on Friday, - Fox5 News reports.

The incident occurred around 4:05 p.m. near West Drive and West 90th Street. An on-duty NYPD officer on a scooter was attempting to escort the three motorcycle riders out of the park when they fled the scene.

The officer was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital and treated for minor injuries.

The first suspect is described as a man with a medium complexion and build. The other two suspects are also described as men with a medium complexion and build.
