Two dead after garage fire erupts at home in Jamaica, Queens

Two people were killed in a garage fire at a Queens home on Saturday morning, ABC News 7 reports.

Emergency crews responded to 91st Avenue around 7:30 a.m. after police received a 911 call reporting a fire in a detached garage.

Upon arrival, authorities found a man and a woman unresponsive, and both were later pronounced dead.

Over 60 firefighters responded to the scene, according to the FDNY.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
