A shooting incident in Brooklyn has resulted in one fatality and two injuries, ABC News 7 informs.
It happened on late Sunday night, just before 11 p.m., inside a seventh-floor apartment located on Atlantic Avenue in the Cypress Hills area.
A man was shot in the chest and was declared dead at the scene. According to police reports, multiple shots were fired through a window.
Among the injured are a 66-year-old man who sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and a 60-year-old man who was shot in both the arm and abdomen. Both individuals were transported to Brookdale University Hospital and are anticipated to make a full recovery.
A witness recounted hearing at least a dozen gunshots, stating, "I was on the sidewalk when the gunfire went through the windows and I felt glass on my head."
As of now, no arrests have been made, and authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
