Police are searching for two suspects in connection with a double shooting in Brooklyn that left two men injured, ABC News 7 reports.
The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday in Sheepshead Bay, near the intersection of Avenue U and East 15th Street, close to the Q train station.
An 18-year-old man sustained a graze wound to the stomach, and a 21-year-old man was shot in the leg. Security footage from across the street captured the chaotic scene, showing people fleeing in panic down the steps from the Q train platform and exiting through an emergency gate on Avenue U. One of the individuals running appeared to be one of the victims.
The injured victim continued down the block before sitting on the ground, where officers provided assistance. Both victims were transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Police are investigating the scene and have removed one of the Q trains from service. While it remains unclear if the shooting occurred on the train or the elevated platform, police believe the incident took place near the platform above.
Authorities are searching for a man and a woman who fled the scene on the Q train.
