Three people, including two adults and a 17-year-old girl, have died in a car crash on the Garden State Parkway, ABC News reports.
The accident occurred shortly before midnight on Saturday on the northbound side of the parkway in Woodbridge Township.
New Jersey State Police reported that 54-year-old David Dryerman was driving a Tesla when the vehicle veered off the road, hitting a sign, guardrail, and concrete bridge support.
David Dryerman, along with 54-year-old Michele Dryerman and a 17-year-old girl, all from Woodcliff Lake, were killed in the crash.
Woodcliff Lake Mayor Carlos A. Rendo expressed his condolences in a Facebook post: "I just received word of this terrible tragedy. I have ordered that our flags be lowered. I am in shock. Please keep the family in your prayers," Rendo said.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
