Four firefighters sustained minor injuries while fighting a blaze at a Bronx store on Tuesday morning, - ABC News7 reports.
The fire ignited just before 7:30 a.m. inside a building on East 233rd Street in the Wakefield neighborhood. Starting in a commercial building, the fire spread to adjacent structures.
FDNY responded to the scene, with firefighters using a ladder truck as black smoke billowed into the air.
The fire escalated to a 3rd alarm and was brought under control just before 9 a.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
