Four people were injured in an early morning apartment fire in Washington Heights, with at least one victim in critical condition, according to FDNY.
 

The blaze erupted around 12:40 a.m. on the third floor of an apartment building on Wadsworth Avenue. Emergency responders treated at least two individuals at the scene, who declined further medical attention.
 

FDNY crews managed to bring the fire under control within an hour.
 

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
