5 Injured in Flatbush apartment building fire

A fire broke out at an apartment building in Brooklyn on Sunday morning, resulting in minor injuries for five people, ABC 7 News informs.

Footage on the Citizen App shows the scene at the building on Ocean Avenue in Flatbush.

The FDNY reported that the fire affected the basement and first floor of the four-story building, injuring five individuals.

First responders treated one civilian and three firefighters on-site, while another firefighter was taken to Maimonides Medical Center with minor injuries.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.
