An FDNY firefighter was injured while fighting a fire in Brooklyn on Thursday afternoon, according to the FDNY, PIX 11 News NY reports.
The fire broke out at 310 Powers St. at 2:12 p.m., the FDNY reported. The three-story building was engulfed in flames, officials said.
Twelve fire units, comprising 60 FDNY members, responded to the blaze. Authorities confirmed the fire was brought under control within an hour.
The condition of the injured firefighter was not immediately available. The firefighter is receiving treatment at a Brooklyn hospital.
