Dawn Jimenez, a former Brooklyn judge and current Supreme Court justice on Long Island, tragically died over the weekend in a motorcycle accident on the Long Island Expressway, Channel 12 Brooklyn informs.

According to police, the 60-year-old was riding as a passenger on a motorcycle that rear-ended a car. The driver, Fredrick Fischer, sustained serious injuries in the crash.

Reports indicate that Fischer collided with a car that had slowed due to traffic, causing a chain reaction that led to another vehicle being struck.
