I was a witness of a shooting on Brighton Beach at the area of Coney Island Ave, not far from Shorefront YM-YWHA on Riegelmann Boardwalk.

Lots of cops arrived rather quickly, dozens and dozens. I also noticed 2 helicopters, one of them was continuing to patrol the area for a couple of hours.

The Boardwalk was closed. The people could only leave it, no entry was permitted.

It is not clear if a shooter or shooters were arrested at the moment.

I will write on Accident.biz about the development of the story.
