Jersey City man dies in single car crash

According to police, a man from Jersey City lost his life following a car accident on 99 Route 17 Northbound near Lodi on Sunday, - ABC7 News reports.

Authorities were alerted to the incident at 4:14 a.m. and upon arrival, found the man trapped inside a new model Jeep. Sadly, the 31-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have chosen not to release the driver's identity at this time, as they are in the process of notifying the next of kin. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
