A fire erupted in a three-story building on Fulton Street in Brooklyn's Cypress Hills neighborhood, leaving lithium-ion batteries scattered among the debris.
According to the FDNY, the blaze began on the ground floor around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. Firefighters worked for over an hour to bring the flames under control.
Authorities are investigating whether the batteries played a role in sparking the fire. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
