Several Bloomfield police vehicles crashed early Monday morning while trying to pull over a BMW, - ABC7 News reports.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Grove Street and South Orange Avenue in Newark shortly before 2 a.m.
Responding officers aimed to pull over a black 2021 BMW X5 when they crashed at the intersection. One police SUV collided with a business establishment, while another vehicle hit a tree.
All officers involved sustained injuries, though none were life-threatening. They were transported to University Hospital for treatment.
Additionally, another SUV was struck in the intersection, resulting in minor injuries for its driver.
The BMW fled the scene, and as of now, no arrests have been made.
