NYPD: Stabbing on lines A and C of Grant Avenue subway station in Brooklyn

 A man was attacked with a knife at a Brooklyn subway station on early Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:10 a.m. on the platform of lines A and C of the Grant Avenue station, located in the City Line area. The victim, who is 51 years old, was stabbed.

Paramedics who arrived at the scene promptly took the injured man to Brookdale University Hospital, where his condition was assessed as stable.

The reasons that prompted the attacker to commit this crime have not been established at the moment and are being investigated during the investigation.

At the moment, no suspects have been detained, and a search is underway for the attacker.
