NYPD: woman slashed in Upper East Side subway station; suspect in ski mask fled

A 28-year-old woman was slashed at an Upper East Side subway station on Monday night, police reported.
She was transported to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and is expected to survive.
The attack occurred just after 6 p.m. at the Lexington Avenue and East 86th Street station on the 4/5/6 train line.
According to police, the suspect, wearing a black ski mask, fled on foot.
The investigation remains ongoing.
