A 64-year-old man was found dead in a private ambulette bus in the Bronx on Monday morning, ABC News 7 informs.
The victim, identified as Peter Forrest, was discovered at 201 Castle Hill Ave. shortly before 10:30 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and authorities are investigating his death as a homicide.
Neighbors, who chose to remain anonymous, reported that the driver had been tied up inside the vehicle. Sources suggested that Forrest may have been stabbed.
Forrest, who lived alone, was described by neighbors as a hard-working individual.
A spokesperson for Marquis Ambulette, a company based in Nassau County, stated on Tuesday that they are fully cooperating with the police investigation.
The exact cause of Forrest’s death has not yet been determined, and no motive has been identified at this time.
