Police are asking the public’s assistance in identifying the driver of a white four-door SUV believed to be involved in an August 29 hit-and-run that left a woman injured, Channel 12 Brooklyn reports.

According to investigators, the victim was hit while crossing the crosswalk at 82nd Street and Flatlands Avenue. The impact rendered her unconscious, leaving her with serious injuries.

She was transported to Brookdale Hospital, where she is reported to be in stable condition.

The NYPD’s 63rd Precinct is urging anyone with information to come forward, noting that surveillance footage shows the vehicle missing a front license plate.
