Police suggest dispute at school as motive in teen boy's fatal shooting in Queens

Police responding to a 911 call about a shooting on Liberty Avenue in Jamaica at approximately 2:40 p.m. discovered the victim unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the torso.
Jazmin was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives are investigating a potential link between the shooting and an ongoing dispute at school.
Surveillance footage shows the victim walking along Liberty Avenue after the shooting, clutching his chest. He then entered a nearby deli before collapsing.
A deliveryman alerted emergency services. Deli employees reported that the victim did not speak or request assistance, and they were unaware of the shooting.
The shooting occurred near a body shop, where security cameras captured a brief altercation.
Police executed a search warrant at a residence on 196th Street in St. Albans on Wednesday, but no arrests were made.
Authorities are actively searching for the shooter, described as wearing a black vest over a gray hoodie, a black backpack, and a mask.
