A man died from a stab wound sustained as a result of a conflict on an MTA bus in Brooklyn On Sunday, NYPD informs.
According to police, the incident occurred around 2 p.m. on a J90 bus traveling along Etna Street and Crescent Street in the Cypress Hills area.
The 41-year-old victim was stabbed in the abdomen. He was rushed to Brookdale Medical Center, where doctors pronounced him dead.
The officers are studying the footage from the bus in order to identify the suspect and find out the reasons for the incident. A surveillance camera mounted on a nearby building recorded the sound of sirens arriving at the crime scene. Local residents also reported loud screams.
The J90 bus, where the attack took place, served as a temporary route replacing the J trains on weekends.
The police are continuing their investigation to determine what the argument was about, or whether the two people knew each other.
