A collision between a tractor-trailer and a Tesla in the Bronx has been cleared after causing major disruptions during the morning commute, ABC News7 informs.

The truck, carrying 8,000-pound transformers, collided with the car on the Alexander Hamilton Bridge, leading to traffic issues on the Cross Bronx Expressway, George Washington Bridge, and Major Deegan Expressway.

Crews at the scene worked to manage a gasoline leak that occurred when one of the transformers struck the truck's fuel tank.

All northbound lanes heading toward the Major Deegan Expressway have since reopened, though residual delays persist in the area.
