Two people are recovering after being slashed inside a nightclub in Times Square early Sunday morning, ABC News 7 reports.

The incident occurred just after 4:30 a.m. at a nightclub on Broadway between West 48th and 49th Streets, according to police.

A 21-year-old and a 26-year-old were both slashed in the face during the attack. First responders transported the victims to a nearby hospital, where officials say they are expected to recover.
