A 24-year-old woman is in critical condition after being struck by an MTA bus shortly after getting off another bus, - ABC7 informs. The incident occurred around noon on Sunday at the intersection of Nevins and Livingston Streets in Downtown Brooklyn.
According to authorities, the woman got off a bus on Livingston Street and was outside the crosswalk when she was hit by the eastbound B41 bus. Passengers were aboard the bus at the time of the collision, and the driver remained at the scene.
Emergency services transported the injured woman to the hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
Investigators conducted measurements and gathered evidence at the scene until approximately 4:30 p.m. when they cleared the area, allowing traffic to resume its flow.
